Branch Committee Members

Jane Connell and Jane Evans are the Association’s Regional Care Development Advisers (RCDA) working in the Branch area, who have detailed knowledge of the care and management of Motor Neurone Disease. Working very closely with local statutory services and community care providers they are able to provide support and advice to people with MND and their families. They can be contacted by email at:

Volunteering Development Co-ordinators (VDC) are regionally based staff who provide advice and support to Branches and other Volunteer groups and also encourage and help to set up new Branches and groups. Susanne Curtis is the local Volunteering Development Co-ordinator and can be contacted at:  susanne.curtis@mndassociation.org

The MND Connect team offer information, advice and support on all aspects of MND

MND CONNECT CAN:  

• Give information and advice about all types of MND and how to cope with the symptoms
• Give medical, social, practical (ie sourcing equipment to aid daily living) and financial information
• Help and advise you at every stage of your journey with MND
• Put you in touch with an Association Visitor, local Branch or Group or Regional Care Development Adviser
• Advise you on the range of services the Association can offer
• Send you useful leaflets, information sheets and other information
• Put you in touch with, and advise you on, other appropriate services
